-Kajsa

Hey Steve-

Hearing the news of your mishap was like a punch to the gut. I guess accident's like that can happen to any of us adventure types at any time. Kind of gives "unlucky" a new meaning. However, knowing you as well as I do (did), I'm sure you will keep a positive outlook and be back on your feet in time. Life is full of challenges, so continue to meet it head-on with the same gusto that you always exhibited on the soccer field, ski slopes, etc. One day at a time and you will be back swinging a club before you know it!

I look forward to reading about your progress on this awesome website.......you sure do have some fine friends!

Wishing you all the best,

Coach

Hi Steve,

You sold us our house in Chimney Hill and are such a great guy. We wish you well in your recovery and it looks like you have great family and friends to support you in your recovery. Sabrina and I will keep you in our prayers.

Bill & Sabrina Angiolillo

Hey Steve,

Hi Steven, I am so glad to hear you continue to progress so well! I keep up to date via both Dad and Mom. The news is so encouraging and we are all praying for your full recovery. It is good to know your spirits are high. you have been working very hard towards getting back on your feet. It must have been fun to have Adam come for a visit.

We are looking foward to going to the fundraiser in Brattleboro on July 12th. It sounds like fun with a band, dancing and food and drinks. Hopefully lots of people will come, have a good time and donate towards your expenses.

Keep up the good work! Bill and Elaine

Hey Steve,
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong and continue to get well.

Best of luck,
Dan

Id like to echo a bit what Steven said to everyone. Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers. Also special thanks to those people who were with Steve when this accident happened. Thanks to Ben for being on the slope with Steve giving him comfort and support, he said to me several times that he wasnt sure what would do laying there alone unable to move or feel his legs. Thanks to Dylan for making the extremely hard calls to Robyn and me to inform us of the accident. I can hardly imagine myself having to make a call like this let alone when I was 27. Thanks to Casey for staying at his side in the hospital the first couple nights. Thanks to Sarah for spending many nights at the hospital and rehab when the rest of us crashed from exhaustion. Lastly thanks to the many Tahoe friends that constantly visited while he was in Renown hospital in Reno. This obviously boosted his spirits and surely helped his dealing with the worry and pain of the first couple weeks after his accident. The help and caring continued even when Steve moved. Adam and Jeremy who started this website and have worked endlessly to try to ease Steves worry about the mounting debt associated with his injury. Thanks one and all .

Steve,

Sorry to hear about this. I havent skied since i busted my shoulder up in VT with you guys(that was forever ago). I made it and so will you. Give me a shout when you get to SC and we'll get up. I'm still in Myrtle Beach. Best of luck.

Rob Rone

Best wishes Steve. I am Jeff Norcia's girlfriend and have heard so many fun stories about you two in the past.

"Every 1000 mile journey beings with one single step"

Hi Steve- I've been sending good thoughts your way! Sounds like your back in South Carolina? Good to hear you have a strong family and friend support system. I have been adjusting to the wonderful world of motherhood! Can you believe I'm responsible for two children?? Oh, one day at a time, right? Between carting children around via Kajsa's taxi service, changing diapers and grinding baby food, I'll keep in touch. Afterall, I do miss smoking cloves in the Mercury Villager. Take it easy, I've been thinking of you. -Kajsa

Hi Steve, I have been trying to find this website unsuccessfully till now. Good to finally get in. Your dad indicates that you can now use your right foot to push yourself in wheelchair. That's great. Iam praying for you. From the stories your dad has told me about you over the years I am sure you will continue to improve. Keep up the hard work. Mike Belby

Cholo Wallace,

Glad to hear about the progress in Santa Clara. Up here in Tahoe things are looking great for the Steve Wallace Benefit at Fireside. We have had some great support from various donors, an article to be published in the Sierra Sun, and a promising turnout for the dinner.

I chatted with Todd Wolfe today...a quadriplegic from Truckee and he would love to chat with you. His number is 530 386 3340. He has many contacts within the spinal injury community including Turning Point, a mountain sports fund for spinal injuries with chapters in NC, SC, and GA. Please get in touch with him as he has some excellent thoughts for you.

Stay strong and we'll be in touch.

Cholo Scott

Hey, Steve,

You may not remember me (the old bat English teacher from way back), but I sure remember you. Those powerful enjoy-life vibes just always radiated from you, and I know they will serve you well through this whole challenge and your recovery.

I'm so sorry to hear about your accident, and I want you to know that we're sending you all our very best thoughts from Montpelier.

Amy

Hi Steve-

We are so sorry to hear of your accident-hang in there and work hard...you can do it!!! It's amazing what sheer force of will can do to overcome obstacles. (I. E.the mother who picked up a car off her child or the old man in the mall who raced to save a child dangling on the ledge.) Determination Dude!!!!

Remember that golf lesson for my family????? (You helped the girls and kids group a couple years ago) Anyway, they all remember you and were sad to hear of your accident. Bonus is they now all have you in their thoughts and prayers. My sister Julia wanted me to tell you she is on a prayer chain and instantly had 2500 people say a prayer for you....Wholly cow! I hope the blessings of your good deeds come back to you now, Steve, when you can really use them.

Keep us posted and know that we are all thinking of you!
Teresa
